Default AMD Phenom FX desktop CPU to launch at 2.8GHz+

A few independent sources have confirmed that AMD is working hard to launch a 2.8 if not even a 3.0+ GHz Phenom FX Quad core in 2007.

As we reported earlier, Rev B2F is the production one and AMD can finally get the clocks at higher speeds than the modest 2.5 GHz, so this will finally give Intel a good reason to reconsider its roadmaps. mid=35

This doesn't worry me much after the clock for clock benches of the Barcelona CPU. I wonder what counterstrike Intel has for this as the Penryn seems to overclock and perform well.
