AMD PCI Express board pops up on the web

AMD HAS been mooting its move to PCI Express for the beginning of next year. Very little has been heard about Chimpzilla's plan for the move, save that the Nforce4 platform will support Nvidia's SLI configuration.

However, Abit has got a PCI Express board tucked away on its webpage, found by those sniffsters at The Tech Report. The board features the Via K8T890 chipset, the successor to the K8T800 - this generation's enthusiast choice chipset, with the system bus on this new model running at a whopping 2GHz.
