 | AMD Opens New Shanghai Facility AMD has just officialy opened its Shanghai Research and Development Center, or SRDC. Shanghai has been a major hotspot for AMD since the company relocated its South Asia headquarters there in 2002, but the SRDC takes the company's presence from just a sales center to a full blow R&D laboratory.
