AMD officially confirms Ryzen branding
 

8-core/16-thread SKU with 3.4GHz base clock

At its scheduled New Horizon event, AMD has now officially confirmed its new branding for the new Zen CPU architecture, now to be known as the Ryzen. As detailed earlier, the only SKU announced and detailed so far is the 8-core/16-thread CPU.
