![]() | ![]() Chip firms Intel and AMD have found themselves in the company of seven other semiconductor giants and are being sued by a Georgia company for allegedly infringing a patent. The other defendants in the case, filed at the end of last week in a district court in Atlanta are Broadcom, Freescale, Infineon, IBM, ST Microelectronics, Sun Microsystems and Texas Instruments, Optimum Processing Solutions LLC claims that the companies have breached a US patent, 5,115,497 - issued on the 19th of May 1992 and called Optically intraconnected computer employing dynamically reconfigurable holographic optical element. http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/42227/118/
