Berlin, 27th of September 2011 – Caseking is expanding the portfolio of high-performance graphic cards with the VTX3D. VTX3D offers cards with AMD based graphic chips in both reference design and unique layout in combination with improved cooling and new PCBs. At launch the VTX3D Radeon HD 6770, 6850, 6870, 6870X2 and 6950 will be available with further models available shortly.

VTX3D redefines HD gaming with the help of powerful graphic chips from AMD, quiet cooling solutions and self engineered PCB. The talented and experienced team from VTX3D has been offering customer friendly service around the globe since 2009. The name VTX and 3D is an abbreviated combination of "Vertex" and "3D" VTX3D. Graphic cards of the 6900-Series are the current high-end parts with the HD 6950 is usually not quite as fast as the HD 6970, but manages to impress with an excellent price/performance ratio while retaining all the benefits of the fast model. This includes the high shader count of 1.408 units - much more than the 1.120 (HD 6870) or 960 (HD 6850).

In terms of speed, the difference is quite noticeable as well. The memory runs at 2.500 MHz (5.000 MHz effective), which is a full 400 MHz or 19 percent faster than the already impressive HD 6870. On top of that the card offers a whopping 2.048 Megabyte, which is twice as much as previous iterations of the high-end Radeon HD 6000 series.

On top of that, the newest series manages to deliver better performance with Tesselation an other 3D elements. To get the most out of this raw performance, the cards come equipped with HDMI 1.4, two Mini-Display Ports along with two DVI connectors. With these, up to four displays may be driven at the same time. To deliver the required power, two 6-pin PCIe power connectors are required, while the card utilizes the traditional PCIe x16 interface.

The VTX3D Radeon HD 6870X2 is a potent combination of two HD 6870 graphic chips on a single PCB. This presents the perfect choice for those unable to utilize traditional Crossfire setups, as the VX6870X2 2GBD5-2DHG only requires a single PCIe slot. Even with all this raw power, the card only requires two 8-pin PCIe power connectors.
