Default AMD FX-57 overclocks to 3000+ MHz

WE TOLD YOU about FX-57 and we are now ready to give you some more details especially about its overclockability.
It's clocked at 2800MHz - no surprise there but it turns out that it's not that hard to break the barrier of magical 3000MHz. This CPU will overclock even more than that cooled with normal air cooling.

You can imagine how high you might set this one at Asetek VapoChill -40 cooling units. It's definitely be record breaker.

It comes in two weeks so I guess that our NDA colleagues will give you all the numbers you want and someone will be brave enough to overclock it to 3000 MHz+. µ

Will its release bring down the prices of the lower rated processors?

not immediately, it will lower the price of the FX-55/53 most likely, that's about it

Well, I am interested in 4000+, surely if the FX-53 is priced lower, the 4000+ must follow.
