AMD Catalyst 12.8 WHQL - HD 7970 Gaming Performance @ Ocaholic
 

Here we go, though AMD said they will not keep on doing one driver release a month they did it. So the Catalyst of August are out named 12.8 and they're even WHQL certified. The fact that AMD managed to improve performance from one driver to another, makes us curious about the Catalyst 12.8 WHQL. We can't wait to test if there is yet another jump in performance.
