| without issue I assume, got a single core 2.4ghz Athlon which handles 1080p without a sweat

| I guess then you are using CoreAVC ? COREAVC gives less picture quality.. Is the 1080p "heavy" (high bitrate) |

| Did you know you only need haali + ffdshow + vsfilter to play those bluray files (andy many others)? |

| Just installed http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Matroska_Pack.htm , possible I installed the "lite" edition, don't know anymore; I just know they work
