According to AMD's naming convention, the 3700+ is the third-best processor in the company's line, with the FX-53 and 3800+ ranked above it. Furthermore, the FX-53 and 3800+ are socket 939 versions, which we recently reviewed. The 939 is AMD's new high-end processor socket, supporting a 128-bit memory interface.
