Default AMD Deneb breaks SuperPi 1M WR (AMD)

The first run under 20s still is miles a way from the actual world record, but shows what 45nm AMD are capable of.

Note that these results still have to be confirmed!

With a Performance Product of 70k, it's much faster than a Phenom, which normally does about 73-74k.

Against Penryn the Phenom already stands a chance. In terms of overclocking: the 45nm will be able to hit 4G on air cooling, as the word on the street goes.

Bloomfield should be a good competitor for the Deneb processor.

The pricing will be very competitive. AMD has already told that their are not going to make the best of the best anymore, but will be focussing on price/performance cards. Price range 150~250 for videocards, for instance
