 | AlphaShield Professional Hardware Firewall How does it fare on the security scale? AlphaShield claims a 100% guarantee, one of those boasts immunity to DoS (Denial of Service) attacks. While I cannot simulate a DoS attack for this review, most DoS attacks are designed to bring a network to its knees by flooding it with useless traffic. Attacks such as the Ping of Death and Teardrop also exploit limitations in TCP/IP protocols. AlphaShield does provide links to other security web pages to conduct your own tests.
