 |  Airbus, Siemens and Rolls-Royce to build hybrid plane Proof of concept Airbus, Siemens and Rolls-Royce are teaming up to develop a hybrid passenger plane that would use a single electric turbofan along with three conventional jet engines running on aviation fuel.
