 | Acer revamps notebook strategy A February 3 article cited the Chinese-language Economic Daily News as reporting that Foxconn is looking to set up a PC assembly plant in India to fulfill regional orders from Dell, Hewlett Packard (HP) and Acer. Today’s Chinese-language Apple Daily News further indicated that Foxconn’s new Indian plant will help fulfill Acer’s desktop shipment goals of six million units for this year and 10 million in 2007.
