| 80 Plus hits Retail: Silverstone's Element Plus 80 Plus approved models are the most efficient of the efficient power supplies. 80 Plus certified PSUs are difficult to find on the retail market, however, because the program is aimed at system builders, not DIY enthusiasts. That's beginning to change with increasing consumer recognition that 80 Plus certification is a sign of a good power supply. The Silverstone Element Plus is one of a handful 80 Plus power supplies now beginning to appear on the retail market.
