1) 7 Reasons to Stick with Windows XP

Quote:
Windows 7 is out today! Huzzah! But wait; if you're still rocking Windows XP, you might want to think twice before upgrading. Here are some reasons to stick with an old OS.

2) 7 Reasons to NOT stick with Windows XP

Well, there are certainly some reasons for sticking with Windows XP and the one that really makes sense is if your current system is too old to support Windows 7. You may not meet the minimum system requirements or your system may have an odd ball piece of hardware that is not supported.

of course Gizmodo makes some ridiculous claims like saying that you have to reinstall your applications, if you PC ever crashes, HDD crashes, you're faced with the same regardless of OS choice. But VR-Zone 7 list is just plain dumb when it comes to recommending "why" you should switch.

Just decide for yourself if you have ANY applications that should work better with windows 7? Do you have any piece of hardware that requires Windows 7?

The only people who NEED Windows 7 are gamers who want to play DX10-only games, and those that use Radeon HD 5xxx series for EyeFinity.

If you are NOT a gamer, Windows 7 upgrade can wait a few years still
