1.9 GHz Barcelona samples are out

Barcelona 1.9 GHz has 95W TDP and that is not that great. The sources have confirmed that 1.9 GHz samples with 95W TDP in its Barcelona B1-stepping are already up and running and being testing in some European servers. The CPU uses Socket F+ and some tools can read it as the 65nm CPU with 4x512 KB L2 cache and 2MB L3 cache.

Server socket, desktop gets AM2+ followed by AM3, all compatible with AM2 CPUs

Ahh, I was wondering! It only makes sense that if they must upgrade to AM2+ they would need to do the same to Socket F but no one had mentioned it anywhere.
