Default scanner

not too expensive...
USB is preferred. resolution and so isn't very important, as long as the scanner is quality and works 100%

how much are you willing to give for a Canon CanoScan 600?
It comes with the required SCSI-card (ISA) :-)

well, I actually meant that as a joke, cuz' it's a really old scanner (I'm guessing 6-7 years old).
and well, you know it still uses an ISA-card to connect with the PC, so...
I don't know how much is cost when it was new, but I heard it was rather expensive (compared to today offcourse)

SCSI scanners are faster then their newer USB brothers

have an Agfa Snapscan E40 on USB connected to my workstation
and a HP 5P with PCI scsi card (cause mobo doesn't have ISA) connected to PC in living room..

both scan documents @ +/- the same speed (ISA a little bit faster even)

and that scanner is also pretty old

unfortunately, I can't.
the computer I used to use it on, has been decommissoned a few months back, and the scanner hasn't been used ever since.
basically it comes to this: I don't have a computer arround where I can plug in that ISA-card, nor can I connect it to any other PC.
I'll take a look at it and see what I can do, but I can't make any guarantees...

where are you from btw Teus?
