Listen up:

Maybe max Async Latency and Read Preamble time are chocking your OC.

Set it to 8 or 9 !!
If that don't work try async at auto and preamble to 7ns

And post cpu-z + a64 tweaker.
I have try Preamble at 15h : 7 and 9 ns -> Same frequency !

Code:
Opteron 144 CABGE 0536 VPAW DFI nF4 Ultra-D 704-2BTA Puit Cooling -> Full = ~ 36°C Max Stable -> 2808 MHz @ 1.57V

With 10h buring @ 1.65 V (Toast) this night !

2.8 GHz @ 1.57V with 1 Mb for 140-150 € -> Good ...
Is not better stepping but is already fine

now try burning in with s&m and do it at 2800@1.55V, you we'll see a gain.

Anyway 2.8ghz is also nice.

Recall of the data base topics :

and
http://www.overclocking-masters.com/...pic.php?id=979

http://home.scarlet.be/~pascpiet/DV/...36VPAW_50.html
You can see on this link the result of the 50 CABGE 0536 VPAW (Only 5 at this time).
Not really bad ... this is not the most powerfull stepping, but for the price ...

I hope receive better stepping in the next delivery (Week of 17 October) and delivery after ...

We hope !

1MB cache and +1000MHz on water for 150€ can't be considered poor or bad, but the FX dies even topped that. I hope the new 146 CPUs will still do 3GHz (but I think they will be more like the 144 CPUs )
