FYI
Just bought 2 sticks ch5 from computermsa

->200 MHz 2-3-2-5 @ 2.6V in dual channel at my dfi bord.
VERY STABLE

did some very quick test.
@ 3v 230 -> 2-3-2-5 (@3.2v still testing)
@ 3.2V 220 -> 1.5-2-2-5 (when going higher errors in memtest)
@ 3v 200 -> 2-2-2-5 (testing at 3.2V ->220 at the moment 2 houres without errors in memtest)
at 225 it goes wrong.
question. can i run these sticks for 24H/24H @ 3.2V ?

Hey

I have 2 CH-5 ram dimms
ComputerSMSA DDR400
I can run them at x-3-x-x without a problem...
but when i try x-2-x-x -timings the system doesn't want to boot anymore...
he accepts the x-2-x-x timing in bios, and after reboot everything still works fine,but i can't boot into windows...

does anyone has a similar problem ?

chip info :

COMPUTERSMSA
K 1024-400CH-5
0522

Ow, my mobo is a DFI LANPARTY UT Nforce 3

Chips probably can't run at x2xx timings, but they also aren't rated for that:

- UTT CH-5 0.13µm -> 2-3-2-5
Maybe some extra volt could help ? (not too much ofcourse )

I tried @ 3.4 vdimm...

edit :

damn... why didn't i tried booting with my memtest - cd .. Then i'll know whether the ram could handle the speeds or not, and whether windows 's the problem...

Maybe your Kit don't love 2-2-2-5, is possible
CH-5 is certified 200 MHz 2-3-2-5 @ 2.8V
