Default Dell Poweredge 2400

Dell Poweredge 2400 with:
- 2 Intel P3 866Mhz processors
- 2 x 256MiB + 1 x 512MiB ECC SDRAM (1GiB total)
- 2 x 9,1GB 10.000 rpm hard disk in hot-swap bay
- 3 x 36GB 10.000 rpm hard disk in hot-swap bay
- 2 x 330Watt hot-swap power supply
- SCSI-cd speler
- Floppy
- VGA, lan & 2 scsi-controllers on-board
- 2 serial ports, 1 printerport, 2 usb1-ports

Included is a malfunctioning perc2 hardware-raid controller (raid 0, 1 and 5). Maybe just bad memory (you can replace it, but not 100% sure if it is the problem), new ones available on eBay for about 30$.
The onboard-controller is working perfect, and so are the harddisks which are connected to the on-board controller, no hardware-raid however.
Works perfect with windows server 2003 (30-day trial included).
512MiB Kingston memory includes the originale packing

It's yours for €360, available in Zomergem (close to Ghent, Belgium).
Testing before buying is no problem.

Right now, this is the only pic I can give you:

I'll try to post a pic without the airduct (the black thing) this evening.

Inside without the airduct

I made a link, because the picture is rather big (more detail).
The big aluminum things are the heatsinks for the 2 cpu's, right of them you can see the 3 memory modules (1 x 512MiB, 2 x 256MiB).

is the price negociable ?

Because I'm not interested in SCSI stuff or case. Just the bare parts...

I would like to sell all at once.
For the moment, it's just taking place and standing in the way (not in use, because I rented a server for more reliable internet-connection and power).
The SCSI-disks alone are worth €160 (I think), so €360 is a nice price.
If you don't need the parts, you can still sell them on eBay

I'm not sure, but is it possible that this is my old poweredge? Exactly the same config, and I sold it about 3-3,5 years ago
But I don't have a clue who bought it from me back then....

Besides that, excellent machine. Very performant but (of course, it's a server) very noisy.
Ps.: I think I still have a spare Perc2 controller. Must check on that

Don't think it's yours. I added the second cpu and 512MiB of ram myself.
If you want to sell that perc2 for a nice price, I might be interested.

ps: I recently installed debian because someone who was interested asked me. If an interested buyer wants to see another os, that's no problem.
