If it were widely available for ~30 euros it would have been a thermalright sp97 / 800 / 900 killer... but I don't think thermalright / swiftech ha anything to worry about: many great coolers never/barely hit the retail shelves of normal shops.

I am a lit worried about the height though, seems like a corecrusher!

I agree with you, I tested the 580g DP-102 on my AXDA1700/Soltek SL-75FRN2 combo and it's weight was worrisome. Something I pointed out wouldn't be a problem because of the great Ziff retention mechanism IF people used a single fan, or "normal" fans, contradicting myself? BUT do their XBlaster fans really weigh more then their Chameleon fan (for example)? And how many people will want to use two fans anyway increasing flow-rate?

I mounted the heatsink upright, and placed the mobo on it's box because I was concerned it would rip the darn socket out of the board! If I was thinking that based on using just two fans with washers, then what might it be doing to a AMD core, once placed sideways in a tower-case, where leverage would increase weight per contact point? I used two X-Blaster fans which I had to get screws, and washers for becasue the unit didn't come with appropriate length screws for 80mm. Upon re-thinking that part, the mounting screws included with the heatsink were only long enugh to mount through the first set of holes on any fan, so how would anyone mount any fans, having a screwdriver larger then the diameter of the those holes?

Your comments have caused me to re-think my evlauation, and I'm going to edit my review. I was very late with the review, and while I meant what I said about the effective cooling, I may have sub-consciously omitted my concerns out of guilt, and that's NO way to do a proper evaluation! I wonder how I could measure weight + leverage? Unfortunately I tossed away the fan boxes, which may have mentioned weight, Aerocool's site doesn't. I'm glad JMKE referred me to this thread, and speaking of guilt, I really should be participating in this forum more, even if I do tend to ramble a bit. (a bit hehe) Thanks RichB
