I need a program that lets you read, write and copy files on the linux partition of my harddrive but runs in windows. So I don't need to reboot that much to shuflle files around.
Windows explorer isn't enable to do this

No rush,

Can you explain why you need to copy files from windows to linux ?
I mean, having a 3th partition makes your files accesible in whatever OS you boot into, reducing shuffling around.

5" google

In which format are you going to format your Data partition? Windows only uses fat/ntfs, Linux doesn't like ntfs (dunno about fat).

4 - 5 years i tried different linux distro's.
Neither of them had problems mounting a fat - partition.
I used it mainly to try out linux-office-suits. With the linux suits i could open and alter MS office documents on the data partition.

i prefere explore2fs because it's freeware and it can read EXT3, only writing is still experimental but they are working on it.
