| What do you think? hi guys, The following is what I am getting from newegg. ---- MB DFI|NF3 LANPARTY UT nF3 250GB RT CPU AMD 64 |3400+ ATHLON 64 RTL HD 120GB|MAXTOR L01M120 7200 8MB RT SOUND BLASTER|AUDIGY 2 ZS LTD EDITN CPU FAN CMASTERHYPER6 KHC-V81-U1 RT VGA EVGA|GF 6800GT 256-A8-N349-AX DUAL DDR 1GB|PC3200XLPRO CORSAIR RT (2-2-2-5) CASE COOLERMAS|ATX PAC-T01-E1SLV R (praetorian) ULTRA X-CONNECT 500W UV BLUE CREATIVE INSPIRE T7700 7.1 SPEAKERS ---- So thats my xmas list. Do you think it will be a solid gaming/3d modelling rig? I don't really plan on overclocking, maybe in the future, but for now I think I should be good. My current rig is a sony vaio p4 1.4 ghz 512 ram and 9600SE |

| I would not buy a new S754 system, rather go for S939 A64 3000+/3200+ CPU and MSI or Epox S939 moterboard other components are very good

| well the closests retail processor (retail = 3 yr warrany) is a 3500+ for 270 p.s. I am getting all this for xmas as a gift ( I hacked my dads newegg account ) So I will have to return the moboard and cpu |

| haha, yeah right anyways, i forgot to ask ... what is the biggest difference between 754 and 939 ? And what about nforce4 moboards, i know they are out for 754, but what about 939? |

| The 939 has a dual channel memory controller, the 754 has only a single channel. And the NF4 mobo's are also for S939. |
