Default is there a good less than 300€ upgrade for a ti4200?

Is there a graphics card available that is a better than a ti4200 (my current card) and costs less than 300€. A 9600pro or fx 5600 seem to fit the price limit. But in reviews they are always talking about a fx5600 ultra but in online shops a never find the ultra spec??
And some say a 9600pro isn't much better than a ti4200 (64mb)

My conclusion for the moment is to wait and hope that the introduction of the 9600 pro xt and 9800pro xt lowers the price of a 9800 (pro) and then I could buy a 9800 (pro)??

Any remarks??

Only big improvement is a r9800. Look hard and you'll find it below 300 euros.

The R9600 Pro/XT is a small improvement if you play a dx8(.1) games without FSAA / AA, but a rather large improvement if you play dx9 games or dx8 with FSAA / AA. It's also a nice toy to overclock.

are there brands with a high possibility to flash them to the pro version? Or do I just have to be lucky?

I have a ti4200 too in my gf rigg, I use it to play games over weekends, it's clocked at 300/sth, I guess upgrading it now isn't worth it... I'd have to go 9800 style too, and I'll find 2nd hand 9800 next year at low prices...

next speedbump in gpu's will be when?

what is a good upgrade if you have a geforce 2 mx 400 (64mb) and one does not want to spend more than 200€
