| Recently I almost blew up a PSU ;D It's a PSU with a good ol' Enermax fan in it (put it in myself). I did that because those fans have a speed-control-thingie, which came in hady when I wanted to see a movie (<-> play games). Anyway, I was testing a rig with that PSU, after assambling the computer I booted it and started installing windows... It was only after diner, when WIndows install was already finished for quite some time, that I got back to my room and smelled something "funny"... And yes: I forgot to connect the PSUfan, so it had been running passively all the time (but it still works) |
