Kingston) 80Gb HD maxtor ( i asked for fluid bearing) i also asked for such a nice superflower case (aluminium, 350W, for only 100) MSI ti 4200 general stuff 15" LCD samsung Brother laserprinter this for 2000 without VAT:wtf: well, should I be happy or not.... if i bought it @loveno/tones/forcom/.. it would be much cheaper if i waited till december it would be MUCH more powerful (granite bay, nv30) so if I did it 'my' way i would get a monster pc for the same money give me yer thoughts |

| If your dad pays everything, I think you should be happy (never look a given horse in the mouth), but if you pay part of it, you'd better convince your dad to wait a month or two. and like calantac said, that's a nice setup |

| buy yourself a pal 8492+ fan, and that 2.4 will do 145-150 fsb (ram will have to run that normally), that's 2.7 ghz, but you need to keep your ram quadpimped

| thx, some more questions a) kingston or apacer ram? b) upgrade to 2.53: 70 (vat inclu), worth it? alu case costs 62 (vat inclu) more, transport from colorcase included...rip-off: stock case is worth 100, and the alu 80-90 and yes, it's a 8IHXP worth 260 |

| @Teus, I've got a great tip for ya. 15" TFT's are incredebly expensive in Belgium, unlike in Germany. I bought a 17" Samsung TFT this week @ funcomputer.de for 530 eur incl transport. Superb desing, quality samsung TFT panel (wiseview) and 0 dead pixels! I would highly recommend it. My dad is against buying online or abroad like your dad, but when he saw my screen he wanted to order one right away too! 530 for a 17" quality TFT is as cheap as it gets! Go buy one now!! http://www.xelo.net/ http://www.funcomputer.de/default.ph...&a rtnr=09629 By the way, the other components seem A-OK. If your dad wants to spend 2000+ eur on it, let him, it's his money and I'd be greatful he chose such a kickass pc. You're not going to tell me that ti4200 is for him. |

| hehe I first had a talk with the dude that sold the pc's to let him know which type of mobo/cpu/graca we wanted. he mailed it to my dad: "this is my proposal" and dad didn't notice anything 'bout that tft: he just doesn't want it (i've just ****ed up my norsk-it "bestelling" as you know. they've got teh cash, but as the ordering system is fully automated and they don't answer the mails i've got some probs) well... i could take a 17" CRT of low quality and let a made order a 17" TFT... i'll think about it |
