Default shape logitech mx700 + ...

The pics I found on the net don't really reveal it: is this mouse intended for right handed users like the one that comes with the cordless desktop optical (which I have now and can only use for ten min before my hand starts hurting like hell)

Has anyone already tried if it is compatible with the cordless desktop receiver?

right handed only
it will not cooperate with the desktop receiver afaik cause it uses its own "docking" station & own frequency

thx, time to start a petition for making available quality left handed mouses

I mailed logitech once concerning this, and they replied that there aren't enough left handed users to make such products

use the mouse anyway
i played a bit with it and as a left-hander i think it's no problem at all
my own mouse is an cordless mouseman optical

and i can work with it. I control the extra button with my pinkie instead of my thumb, for the rest it's the same.

naah, the first time you hold a mouse is the time when you choose between left or right.
i can steer a mouse with my right hand, but with my left hand it goes so much better.

explation how this comes?
just been reading something about this: it seems about 20% off all kids/people are left- and righthanded, some of these can do almost everthing with their two hands, other use the right hand for some actions and the left for other. Maybe you're one of them...

On the other side, the only thing I use my right hand for, is holding my sigarette. So right handed mousing is no option for me,I'm too clumsy
