Seagate Serial ATA 120GB 7200rpm

could you explain for a newbie (to sata anyway) how you did the install - im hoping to buy a sata drive this week:

asus A7N8X deluxe... supports sata, includes cables, i see there is a jumper on the board to adjust, and drivers are also needed

install win98SE... do i install the drivers at the end of the win98 install process? this isnt clear in the manual for the board.

just to clear this up for me also... after the physical installation of the drive, will it boot with a win98 startup disk, and is there anything i should know?

thankyou

The sata is no different from IDE afaik when it comes down to recognising the hard disk.
