 |  Promise SATA300 TX4 can not read new 1000GB WD Drive Installed the HD, plugged into the Promise Fasttrak SATA300 TX4, Device Manager shows "device unknown/unreadable" no firmware or driver updates for the TX4. What's a good PCI or PCIe based SATA controller card to buy?

LSI is also a good competitor, and cheaper  .// Forgot it's only for one drive, I gave you some tips for RAID purposes. Mail the shop for a known card that supports the WD, they have good support
