Power supply for Chaintech 9CJS rig?

I need to use the default 400W power supply, that came with my inexpensive medium-tower ATX case, for another computer. This means I now get to buy a new PS for my 9CJS MOBO rig, P4 3.0c. :D

I have two 10,000RPM 37GB raptor hard drives in RAID0 and another 80 GB HD for backups, a nVidia FX5600 card, modem and two CD/DVD players, two 80mm variable fans, 1Gig ram—nothing fancy. No tweaking yet. The temp is a stable 44 degrees.

I plan on adding one more hard drive to use soley as a ghost backup.

My bays are full so I can't use a powersupply with a control panel, but I do want a quality, reliable, warranteed PS.

Any recommendations? I prefer to use Newegg because they ship cheaply to Hawaii.

Thanks,

Kerry

we'll , since you can't use a PSU with control panel, that rules out the Antec 550W

the OCZ 420W is more then sufficient also, and allows v-controls also: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...104-150&depa=0

No it doesn't, there are two versions; the regular true power 550w (without controlpanel) and the TrueControl 550W (with control panel) ;)

it does not allow voltage rail adjustment.
