do you want to overclock? -> I875 chipset ASUS/DFI
run at stock speed and good price? -> I865 chipset Asus/Abit

Just ordered a P4P800 regular to replace the 3 years old MSI 645DX board. Cheap for $49.

I used the IS7 before on the 2A; and was able to push it to 3.3 Ghz using just PC2100, and in dual channel it gets pretty nice boost on mem band. For an old Chip, it is pretty cheap "upgrade".

Been having problem with HDD corruption without PCI/AGP lock on the 645DX.

those results are unverified and half of them are made up, for starters...

sorry but.. best OC mobo depends on how high the FSB can get in 1:1 with the memory. their only the Asus P4C800-E Del and the DFI board are able to take you up and over 280Mhz FSB.. other boards crap out a lot sooner.. my Asus P4C800 does not reach 265 all stable; L3D's Deluxe does 285 with ease..

the IC7 max is not known for reaching high OC speeds @ 1:1 .. sure running async it will go over 300, so does my Abit IS7..

see, I'm not saying the IC7 sucks, I'm saying that for pure OC, there are better boards. Unless you don't mind bringing out the soldering iron, this IC7 kicks any boards ***.. but there is about 10kg of solder on it
