Default Need help with DDR2 specs

Hey all

I just bought myself a Dell Vostros 1500 and only got it with the standard 1GB of DDR2 667 speed ram. For those that don't know it's one of deals higher end laptops with core 2 duo and dedicated 256MB nvidia 8600 graphics.

My first question is does anyone know how many dimm slots this puppy has? they don't tell you at Dell for some reason.

My second is about ram, theres alot of laptop ram on newegg thats 667 and it's pretty cheap about $100 for a 2GB stick. However there is only 1 stick of 2GB 800 speed ram and it's OCZ for $150. My question about this is that will i notice a real difference between 667 and 800 speed ram in gaming and in photoshop?

thanks

-Ray

search for the service manual of that particular Dell model, will give you the required tech details and let you see if there is a spot for more mem.

you won't notice difference in gaming between 667/800 laptop ram; get the cheapest available with longest warranty
