| memory chips I didn't know where to post this, but this is an interersting page: http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/.../AMD/memory/91 contains info on the chips that are the memory modules from a lot of "merknamen" (dno the English word for it) Not 100% up to date though, The OCZ EB series also use Samsung TCCD chips.... I think all the newer sticks use the Samsung and the older EB's use the Micron 46V32M8 -5B C chips Nways, I hope it helps *edit* and lots of ATI bios files there too :feesten: http://www.techpowerup.com/bios/ |

| As you could see there aren't many chip makers but lots of repacker. Repackers or private labelers arrange buying "top notch" chips from production that may have 10% yield factor; the next guy gets the 11 to 20%; the guy follows well get 21 to 50%; the last guy gets the remaining 50%.

| the xms2700c2 1.1 they say is bh-6 is a. too old for it to be bh-6 and b. cant oc worth anything even on 2.9v the 2.1 they say is crap however, does 2226 @ 220 on 2.7v xms3000 r1.1 does the same |

| Just got reply, my chips are what they are supposed to be The samsung TCCD's are what is on the pc 3200 EL platinum rev 2's that were also used in the anandtech review. here's something that others may find interesting too: Quote:
