LiteOn 8x DVD writer @ 120!

Hi,

I just ordered a LiteOn 8x DVD writer for only 120,00 euro from Complix !?!

I was shocked to see this promoprice ; now have 2 dvd writers.. cool

very nice price!
I got a Nec 4x DVDwriter for that price 2 weeks ago

but it's no competition for a Plextor 8x

Not really something new, and not even such a nice price.

And I still won't buy plextor. (buying a 450€ writer and never have it work longer then 2 months does that to you)

not calling plextor on-site warranty service is your own fault, not plextor's

I did, 4 times.
It broke down every time. I gave up since the last one broke down just out of warranty.
Fast on-site warranty, that's true. But what goed does it do if the drives won't last longer then 2 months.

I have 6 Plextor CDr's , none of them have broken down once..

is there certified 8x media?

I have no-name 4x media which performs great at 8x, bought it from cdrfreaks.nl

www.cdrwinkel.com is selling some ,
i'm gonna try wtih soms riteks04 , they seem to burn at 8x on pioneers.

edit : since an overclocked liteon 4x tot 8x , cant write dvd-'s at 8x , it is pretty useless and i'm not going to take the little risk (for now)

edit2 : couldn't ressist , flased it anyway
now i have a 8x dvdburner for 101 euro
