had a look at the G81-1000 keyboard this morning, at school. it's still the old-fashioned one with micro-switches

I'll get a G83, if mom sponsors me I'll also get a G81. I'll use the best one on my main pc, other one on linux pc

too late, i've bought a logitech internet navigator

it's not bad, but it uses separate rubber thingies that are NOT connected to each other => rectal pain to take apart and clean :(

it's a bit odd, i've opened the backplate to put a blue led in it. the keyboard controller is accessible then, but the inner part with the sensors etc. is hidden behind another piece of plastic

That's quite wierd. I checked out the (as far as I know) only logitech distributer for belgium, and I couldn't find it.
So they're either importing, or the distributer is using some wierd name I can't track.

I'll definitly look into this. Using my laptop made me realize how much pressure I have to place on my regular keyboard.

I saw them in a shop in Oostende (www.lingier.be). I didn't see a box in the shop so I informed and the price was +- € 30, as there is no retailbox I think it is primarly intended for OEM-sale.

You can't find them on the logitech website, they are hided in the OEM-section. The name of the board is UltraX
