Default Which HD for storage

I'm looking for a new hard drive

it's only purpose is storage, so it needs to be big and silent...
speed doesn't matter (maybe a little bit),

which HD is the best for this, keep in mind that i don't want a drive which after a year is going to be dead.

I was thinking to buy this one @funcomp

SAMSUNG SV1604N 160.0GB, 5400Rpm, 2MB, UDMA/133 for 96.69 €
or this one
SAMSUNG SpinPoint P80 SP1604N 160.0GB 7200Rpm UDMA/133 for 106.99 €

is samsung a good choice or should i go for WD of something else

a 250 gb maxtor is to expensive

If i buy 2*160 of samsung it's cheaper and more place to store my data

the price is also something important for me....

120+ 8mb cache drive from Maxtor has 3y warranty, and the price is certainly very competitive

like i said, speed isn't important
so 8 mb cache isn't needed

250 gb maxtor costs at leats 285 €

2*samsung 160 gb costs 192 €

edit: you were talking about the price of the 120 gb disks, ... my mistake

those prices are beter then the 250 gb

the maxtor 120GB 2MB cache is currently the best price per GB available here in belgium. That's maxtor and WD only. Didn't have prices of seagate and anything else isn't considered a HD by me.

Anyway, if you buy those Samsungs, please be so kind to share some numbers
