an AMD chip dying on makes you feel bad, doesn't it

i've got a duron 1300 and the core has been damaged by the previous owner, I paid 40&euro for it and it only worked once :/

It sure does give you an unique keychain with a great story to tell about it, im pretty sure no one else i know has a keychain that they can say cost $100

I got an €80 XP1700+ keychain , is about $100

killed a brand new CPU in less then 2 seconds, heatsinks was 1.5mm from the core on one side. expensive joke this hobby!

my guess, at least half the [m] crew has got some sort of AMD keychain

green XP1700+ over here as well, i don't remember exactly, but i think this would be the one which died in a prommy :^/

AMD K6 200 is the best I can. Am I really that good ???
Or just a bit more on the carefull side.
