GeForce 4 performance - Dual VGA

"GeForce 4 performance - Dual VGA", that's what I'm looking for. I guess the 4200 is best in price/quality, but what brand should I go for? Also, I'm not sure what that DVI means. When I read DVI on a card's specs, is it for sure a dual VGA then?

nope
DVI means it has a digital connector on the back, some cards can use a convertor & you can connect a 2nd screen
but not all

search in the specs for TwinView/Dual Screen support

My Gainward 750XP (4600) has two dvi-connectors and works perfectly in dual-disp.

As you know the performance hit using more than one display can be extreme in a low memory environment. Also, the resolution that each display can reach is limited by the video card's max res and the max res of the display too.

I think the only card I've seen that does multi display perfectly for all applications, even gaming, would be the parhelia.

Dual Monitor gaming is not do-able for the moment
the GF4 is quite good for Dualmonitor in windows :)
