Combining 2 Routers

Hello,
I have a D-link DI-604 router. Because my father wants some wireless network on his laptop, I bought a DI-624 router, so I won't have much trouble with a shortage of ports :).

I was wondering if it is possible to just connect the uplink (WAN) port of the DI-624 router with a LAN port of the other router? Is that enough, or do I have to do it an other way?
Thanks for your advice all:super:

uplink from switch 1 to normal port on switch 2 should work fine!

hm :p
I think it would have been cheaper to just buy a wireless switch / acces point, because the router you already have, would have "forwarded" the internet to that acces point without any problems...

There were 2 reasons why I didn't:
-i need some of the extra ports
-the router seems to be cheaper than the acces point
