Bits and Pieces

1) My computer has never have any heat problem and I don't understand what people are complaining. I asked "what kind of computer do you have?". The man answered "266 mhz Celeron".

2) I am using a AXP3200+ and it never ran over 26C stressed with air cooling. I said "that is very good" and asked "how do you keep it so cool?". The man answered "I keep my room temp to no more than 60F; I like cool places".

3) A fat guy said "No idea why people spend so much to cool the computer." I asked "Give me some idea." The fat guy said "I just used a second handed house fan blowing on the side of computer and left the panel open."

4) An old man starred at the SF-609 and said "That's neat to have a CB (Citizen Band Radio) mounted."

5) A well dressed man gave me an idea how he cooled his OC'ed PC by simply connecting the house A/C outlet into the case. Try not to use the PC in winter months.

6) A gamer, as how he called himself returned to me after he brought a new rig; proudly present to me what he just purchased. An AXP 2000+ system with onboard video and a high capacity single stick 256 ram.

Hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed my trip.

yesterday a friend asked me to install internet (phone line) on the pc of his grandfather. Becaute the man only use it for reading e-mails he doesn't need a better connection. But my friend had a problem with installing it so he asked me to come over and look at it.

He was trying to get internet without a modem and the phone line plugged in a NIC.

We where lucky that his grandfather still had his old modem. And after a few minutes we all enjoyed (tuut tuut tuut krrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)

Maybe not a very funny story, but I'm €20 richer now :D

UPDATE: I just heared of my friend his grandfather died today :( but I don't know if it's that grandfather. I hope not.
