i can't help it, it's exactly the same problem as 3Dmark2003. It's up to madonion/futuremark to make it freeware.

On the other hand, it's ment for serious benchmarkers/reviewers, most have a registered version... no?

found something pretty cool "Tenebrae" for Quake 1 !!
implements lighting code from Doom ]|[ to the Q1 engine

the effect is awesome and its very demanding on your system
in 640x480 I get fps drops till 10, and avg is 50

not even using max settings, Q1 can be run command line, not sure about the output though, console logging?

Hehe, a poor man's Doom III bench. Can it be used on the free Q1 demo?

I can extract the results from both a file & process output, but not the console in the game itself.

redid the Q1 bench,
max detail 640x480x32 = 36fps
max detail 1280x1024x32 = 10fps

and that's in a very light bench without shooting, just running around a very small DM map

you can start the timedemo with the command-line, not sure if it possible to output the console

@kipni: send screenshots and the like to richbastard@madshrimps.be

or crop them before attaching them here , thanks

http://users.pandora.be/colarjo/madmark/

place the 3 .3dp files in your 3Dmark dir and it should work. I'll try to include them in the jar, but i don't know whether it will work.

About pifast: that's because you haven't pinpointed the correct dir. Does the dir you selected contain "hexus_pifast.bat"?

download pifast here:
hexus pifast (download)

kipni, as i said, the generate output buttons don't work yet. This is a pre-alpha proggy.
