Pifast: can't get it to work, but i'll edit the Hexus_pifast.bat

Edit: Pifast works now, but same problem as 3dmark, only can export once
excel closes after 10 sec. If you force it to close earlier, it will crash in the background making it unable to run twice.

Currently, only the first time you export to excel the results will be correct. All the other times, it will be exactly the same result as the first time. I know about this, it's not a bug, it's just not coded yet.

Can you get pifast to work with the new download link?

nope not with the new download link

had to edit hexus_pifast.bat

in the new download link there isn't a bat-file

I think if you add the correct hexus_pifast.bat there won't be any problems

the bat file is included in madmark, it will copy the right one automaticly. The included bat file used pifast41, i've uploaded a new zip with the correct bat file.

i download the files from the new link, the problem are the same like before.

I think that pifast doesn't start or run or that he doesn't read the files hexus.txt . because my cpu doesn't go to 100%

maybe it's easier just to include Pifast in the Madmark Zip, it's only 161 KB so that won't be a problem

and isn't it posible to see something when Pifast is running, i't's a little bit weird and some people will think that it doesn't work

i have found the bug. In the bat file that u included i have made a little change.

rundll32.exe
@echo off
echo Running Hexus Pifast to 10M places...
pifast41.exe < hexus.txt
echo Jot down your results or take a screenshot
echo done

and change the pifast42.exe to pifast41.exe. And everything works fine

i know, i still have to find something for that.

@silencer: that latest madmark zip & pifast download are both 42... i think. I've been switching a lot.

@silencer:
that's a bug i still need to fix, the "start" button doesn't check whether it's installed or not, so it just gives an empty result.

Would you please rename pifast41.exe to pifast42.exe?

indeed, both need to be pifast42.exe, because the app checks for pifast42.exe, not 41.

-edit-

I reuploaded the .zip. I doublechecked and the .bat says 42, the app searches for 42, so you need to have pifast42 installed.
