Default Avd9 vfd

Hi new here, Im trying to reuse my aopen vfd with ir on my current setup but wasnt sure how the connector work as the former connect direct to the mobo. The connector uses 20 Pin (2x10) header receptacle.

Hello there,

It all depends on the motherboard; very little number of motherboards support that type of connector and almost all of them are ITX.

Well, you need to have a VFD dedicated connector on the board, a serial or parallel port is not enough. I have seen some Jetway ITX motherboards with this connector onboard.
