audio speakers

Anybody here got any experience with decent audio speakers for a room about 8*5 meters big, destined for musical reproduction mainly. (muzik is mostly heavy duty stuff, no easy listening, nor classical)

My analog system has been with me for 30 years .... a nice digital system now may well be good for another 30
