ATI or Nvidia?

Well im a noob at this video card thing but i was wondering with direct X 9 games coming out now which card would be a better choice for the new direct X 9 games- a 9500 pro or a 5800nu??

Personally i would choose a 5800, Geforce ?

If a geforce then yes, they just generally are better at performance.. check out www.tomshardware.com for stats and benchmarks.

Peace.

best bang for the buck would be the Geforce FX5900XT or a 2nd hand Radeon 9700 Pro

as JMke says, 2nd hand 9700 pro beats it all in performance/price

but it all depends on what you wanna spend :)

FX5800 is slower then a 9700 Pro and more expensive...

FX5900XT kost nowadays around 185 €, in holland, and that are great cards. R9700 pro secondhanded is also a good choiche, but if you are into overclocking and don't have an AGP/PCI lock, Nvidia is the way to go
