thanx to all for the advice: in the end I stuck to Crucial Ballistix PC6400 even if significantly more expensive (50% more in Paris): reading around forums/comments, I got the impression that Gskill o Geil are very good price/performance even if not the fastest WHEN functional but that their QC was so so (much better anyway than playing russian roulette with unmatched noname RAM, but could be better).
