RichBa5tard 24th April 2006 14:16

[Bonbon] 24th April 2006 14:58

there are worse things

piotke 24th April 2006 16:46

What does it pay ? :)

I just wrote quit a big program for KBC in VB6.

Btw, ADO and direct X ? Dont you mean ADOX / Active x ? :)

Forgot to mention, I also know HTML perfectly, can use ccs decently, and program in Flash (action script). Talk to me on msn :)

piotke, who did you hire to do your home work assignment when you were in 6th grade? :)

jmke 24th April 2006 18:52

Piotke, if you do his homework, he won't learn a thing;)

Sidney 24th April 2006 19:45

But, he knows how to handle accounts payable:)

Nobody, alway did everything myself.

jmke 24th April 2006 20:38

so why would you encourage somebody else to not do his own homework?

piotke 24th April 2006 20:39

I don't ecourage him. I could help him not to **** up his year. And VB6 is old. He'd better spend some time in VB.net ;)

Btw, He also should know I charge 15 euro an hour, not deductabla taxes and legal :)

Sidney 24th April 2006 20:44

Charge him 50 per hour instead; this is the only way he will find out knowledge is money. Lazy is me :)

AngeluS 25th April 2006 08:57

Piotke just let him suffer.
He should learn to program himself and that there are deadlines and if you don't get them then you get punished.
I bet he has no time because he is gaming or in some other way goofing off.
If you don't have time for school when you are in the sixth grade then there is something fundamentally wrong with you.

Like he said, his request is just lame. :p

FreeStyler 26th April 2006 10:48

it's what they call outscourcing and it's the future.
so he's actually running ahead of everything :p

jmke 26th April 2006 10:57

than he should be posting at a forum in India, that's the future.

geoffrey 26th April 2006 11:42

vr-zone :D

AngeluS 27th April 2006 07:45

Let's make a deal.
You program it yourself but we'll help you if there are specific questions/problems. :)

Bad joke, I know ;)

piotke 4th May 2006 14:06

You never delive an application in code form. The extra libraries be:

- compiled to the code
- added to the installer

SuAside 4th May 2006 15:54

i've only worked with vb6.0 once. and i dont plan to do so ever again.

welcome to DLL hell ;)

(but i think your odbc thing wont be to hard to fix, dont worry. i simply dont have much experience with what you are describing)

AngeluS 5th May 2006 07:31

I've never worked with VB6 so I'm not sure of what I am going to say but if you create the installer for your application then I believe there will be a possibility to include your ODBC config to the setup.

piotke 29th May 2006 07:19

mail it me :)

piotke 15th January 2007 16:04
