90CFM is IMPOSSBLE to do silent

best you might get is the AC 120mm fans but they won't be silent, just quiet and cheap

my thoughts exactly, to get 90 cfm and silence you'd need a 240mm, but the airflow will be scattered over too big a surface

maybe his definition of silent is 40dBA @ 50cm instead of 35dBA ?

isn't 40 higher then 35?
shouldn't that be louder, John?

uhm.. what I mean is maybe for him a "silent" fan is "loud" for you

personal preference; my workstation produces 47dBA @ 40cm and it does not bother me.

maybe what me means with a "silent" 90CFM+ fan is: not a Delta/Vantec 120mm screamer

All my systems are running between 45 to 50 dBA at the same distance; except the W/C Aquagate 120-R, higher.
