How To Buy Stuff From NewEgg

I was thinking that it would be nice to buy some stuf from newegg (well not really, but it would be nice to know), do these guys ship to Belgium?
Are there any problems with huge shipping fees / the "douane" or the likes?

Thanks for the info

X
Jim

you'll have to pay 21% port + a small fee for handling.

Newegg does NOT ship to Belgium :(

RichBa5tard 10th December 2005 15:49

I recommend www.kmelectronik.de for cheap hardware in Europe. It's noticably cheaper than a belgian shop, it has a huge stock, very professional followup and costs 20 euro to ship to belgium.

Only downside is you cannot pay with VISA or C.O.D.

JMKE can. He's really good at selling stuff in malaisia.

edit: a misunderstanding. You mean the country Malaysia in Asia. We are talking about Malaisia, a little republic in Europe.

Not even Canada, which they had announced was in the works over a year ago... Regarding the current announced plans to move into the European/China markets... I dunno. I believe the Dailytech article mentioned they were going to go through a 3rd party company though for the Chinese market...

Newegg is becoming the Walmart for computer parts. :( Their customer service recently has gone down the john.

Comparing to ?

Clubit, Frys, Bestbuy, Circuitcity ..... give me some specifics.

Inferno 10th December 2007 03:09

Best Buy I guess.

I can't walk into a Newegg with the broken product, plug it in and prove it's broken. Unlike a Best Buy. They give you the runaround on the phone transferring you from person to person. The last time I was that annoyed about getting made a pass around I was asking for a new power sully for a Dell, from the dell support line.

Sidney 10th December 2007 03:22

I have been buying from newegg since 2000; use the online RMA within the time of return warranty, not a single question asked. You don't have to talk to anyone, nor the need to show anything.

Of course B&M stores are nearby and you can walk back in for refund and return, which shouldn't be compared to e-business.

Dell is a different story if you don't have a corporate account.

www.hardwareversand.de
www.hpm-computer.de ===> paypal and visa... :)

jmke 14th December 2007 20:21
